A week has passed, a week to go...

Some forms of online social interactions are harder to ignore than others. For example: I've been contacted because of my long standing bug report to finally solve it. I needed to contact some developer and he prefers Twitter for outreach. Joining a discussion on Kotlin programming language forums is another example. Using YouTube to watch many programming conference sessions... Moreover, if you're in IT it is beneficial to know what is going around you even by passive viewing.

OTOH, Facebook was and continues to be trivial to avoid.
